Carol has enjoyed her career in insurance since 1968. As a member of Ashley Insurance you will her working in the commercial and farm departments. Carol holds a property and casualty insurance license and certified insurance representative designation and always working and servicing her clients. When not at the office you will find Carol as a dedicated volunteer for The Maryland 4-H Youth Program and is the leader of The Green Clover 4-H Club for over 45 years. Carol and her husband John reside in Talbot County. They have 2 daughters, Lynn & Shelly and 4 Grandchildren Justin, Dylan, Sabrina and Andrew.
Tammy Payne has been in the insurance business since 1984 and is passionate about her career choice. Tammy is licensed in property/casualty and life/health. She holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is on her way to earning the Elite status. Tammy currently works in our personal lines department and has been with us since 2007. Alexandra (Alexa) Matthai has been working as Manager of the Life and Health insurance division of Ashley Insurance since August 2001 and brings over 20 years experience to the agency. Alexa currently serves on the board of Eastern Shore Health Underwriters and Thompson Creek Homeowners Association and is a former president of the Eastern Shore Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. As a member of the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants and American College Certified Health Care Reform Studies participant, Alexa is a informed resource for area business owners regarding benefits for themselves and their employees. Originally from Owings Mills of Baltimore County, Alexa has been a resident of the Eastern Shore since 1985 currently residing on Kent Island. She enjoys cycling, boating and visiting her three grown children.
Miranda Furstoss holds licenses in both property/casualty and life/health, as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree from Capella University. She earned the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 2011, the CISR Elite in 2017, and was the recipient of the Outstanding CSR of the Year Award for Maryland in 2014. She currently works in the personal lines department of Ashley Insurance. Miranda, who has been working alongside her mother Tammy in the insurance business since she was fourteen, joined the Ashley family in 2007. She resides in Elkton with her husband Rob, and their three girls, Carmalie, Reagan, and Addalyn.
